L-arginine , for nitric oxide, which is needed in the inflammatory process of wound healing. It is a precursor, it is also used in the production of collagen. L-arginine supplementation in wounds has been observed to increase collagen deposition.
Folic acid , reduces oxidative stress, increases fibroblast production, biodegradable collagen. It increases the production and speed of collagen production. It therefore supports wound healing.
Zinc , promotes the development of granulation tissue and the formation of the epidermis in the early inflammatory phase of wound healing.
Vitamin B12 , helps in cell proliferation, increases immune and nervous system function, maintains healthy skin and muscle tissue and increases metabolic rate.
Selenium , is a key ingredient in regulating immune and inflammatory responses and is an essential micronutrient required for more than 25 proteins in the body. Selenium has also been shown to speed up blood sugar levels.
Vitamin D3 , is necessary to protect the body from infections and initiate the normal repair process. A vitamin D deficiency makes the body work to resist infections and makes the patient more susceptible to germs. It can threaten the innate immune system.
Vitamin E , increases wound closure rate. Studies have shown that vitamin E supplementation is beneficial for wound healing and immune function.
Vitamin C , is necessary for collagen synthesis. It also protects cells from damage caused by free radicals. It is a very effective antioxidant. Studies show that vitamin C speeds up the healing process of wounds.
