◉ Actolind® Hydrocolloid Plus is a gelatin-free hydrocolloid wound dressing laminated to a semi-permeable, bacteria-repellent and waterproof polyurethane carrier film.
◉ The lining forms a gel when absorbing wound exudates.
◉ This creates a moist wound environment that supports granulation and epithelialization.
◉ The gel formation prevents the dressing from adhering to the wounds, thereby allowing the dressing to be removed from the epithelial tissue without causing pain and damaging the granulation.
◉ The outermost layer is breathable, bacteria and virus repellent and waterproof made of a polyurethane film that protects the wound from external contamination.
