Characteristics

Actosed ^® HP Ready is a sporicidal disinfectant containing peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide. It is used for high-level disinfection of medical instruments and endoscopes and acts on bacteria (including TB), viruses and fungi. Actosed ^® HP Ready is activated and ready for use during use.

Actosed ^® HP Ready : Activator: ≤ 6% peracetic acid The activated product initially contains ≥ 2000 ppm peracetic acid and ≥ 5000 ppm hydrogen peroxide.

Instructions for use

Preparation method:

It is offered as Actosed ^® HP Ready 4750 ml + Actosed ^® HP Ready Activator 250 ml. If the activator is used together with the product, 5000 ml is completed. The product is activated by mixing Actosed ^® HP Ready with Actosed ^® HP Ready Activator . The entire Actosed ^® HP Ready Activator bottle is poured in Actosed ^® HP Ready . The lid is closed ensuring it is mixed thoroughly. The product is ready for use and does not need to be reconstituted.

Test strips: It is sold in packages of 25 strips. The prepared solution has a shelf life of 5 days. The effectiveness of the solution should be checked using test strips.

Manual disinfection:

Devices should be cleaned with an enzymatic cleaner before disinfection. During this cleaning process we recommend our product Actoclean ^® Perfect. After pre-cleaning, the external surfaces and internal channels are rinsed and dried without leaving any residue. The prepared product is added to the bath.

Pre-cleaned devices are immersed in the bath so that all surfaces and cavities come into contact with the solution. The bath lid should always remain closed during use. After the exposure period, the medical devices are removed from the bathroom and rinsed with sterile water or water of at least drinking water quality. According to the procedure, the rinsing process should take at least a minute.

Wear personal protective equipment (such as gloves, safety glasses, etc.) when working with the solution.

Disinfection with endoscope washing machine:

Always follow the machine manufacturer's recommendations. The prepared Actosed ^® HP Ready is added to the machine. The production takes place as described above. Pre-cleaned devices are placed in the machine so that all surfaces come into contact with the solution. Washing should be carried out according to the schedule established by the machine manufacturer in accordance with the instructions for use of the solution.

Rinse instructions:

Rinsing process: After the recommended exposure time, rinse the medical devices with water of at least drinking quality and dry them. During the rinsing process, use enough water to completely cover the device and leave the device in the water for at least 1 minute. Do not use the water for rinsing or other purposes. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for further rinsing instructions.
