Material compatibility:
Actosteel ^® should not be used for acid-sensitive equipment such as unprocessed steel.

Actosteel ^® reliably removes rust and corrosion from hardened chrome steel and chrome-nickel steel instruments. It is recommended to put on gloves before use. Add a sufficient amount of water (water temperature: 15-25°C) to the disinfection tray. The duration of the effect decreases as the water temperature increases. Add the recommended amount of Actosteel ^® concentrate using the dosing cap. The amount of concentrate depends on the degree of contamination. The concentration ratio and cleaning time can be increased depending on the degree of contamination. Place the dismantled instruments in the solution. Make sure that all surfaces and cavities are covered. Wait at least 5 minutes, maximum 10 minutes. If necessary, remove stubborn residues with a medium-hard brush. After the cleaning process, remove all instruments from the solution and then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Recommended dosage*:
0.5% – 5 minutes (manual use)
0.3% – 5 minutes (with ultrasound device)
* Concentration ratio (up to 1%) and exposure time (up to 10 minutes) can be increased depending on the rust.

Caution:
Actosteel ^® is not intended for daily use, it can only be used in the presence of rust. The product must be diluted with cold water (up to 25 ° C).

application areas
Actosteel ^® is suitable for stainless steel surgical instruments and all types of rusted surfaces. It is not suitable for dental mirrors.

Stainless steel is used for many surgical instruments but is not completely rust and stain free, just more resistant to corrosion. Actosteel ^® dissolves rust and corrosion on surfaces to prevent instruments from discoloring. The product will
also used to neutralize alkaline residues and prevents limescale formation.
